Sunshine State Labrador Rescue is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Administrator to help maintain and update our website. This role is vital in keeping our online presence current, user-friendly, and engaging for potential adopters, volunteers, and donors. If you enjoy working with WordPress and want to use your technical skills to make a difference for Labrador Retrievers in need, this is the perfect opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update website content (pages, posts, forms, and images)
- Ensure plugins, themes, and WordPress core are updated and secure
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues as they arise
- Collaborate with the rescue team to post new dogs, adoption events, and announcements
- Optimize website performance, navigation, and user experience
- Assist with donation forms, applications, and integrations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing WordPress websites
- Familiarity with common plugins (e.g., Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, GiveWP)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website troubleshooting
- Attention to detail and commitment to timely updates
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team
