Help us spread the word, raise awareness, and secure the support needed to give Labradors the happy endings they deserve! As a Marketing, Fundraising and Events volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in promoting Sunshine State Labrador Rescue and building the resources that make our mission possible. Whether you’re a writer, an organizer, or an idea-generator, there’s a place for you on our team.
What you’ll do:
- Write and share engaging, newsworthy articles about our dogs, volunteers, and events
- Develop creative fundraising ideas to help sustain our rescue work
- Participate in local fundraising activities, adoption events, and community outreach
- Host or co-host meet & greets, adoption days, or awareness events
- Suggest and lead your own initiatives to raise funds or awareness for the rescue
What we’re looking for:
- Passion for animal rescue and Labrador Retrievers
- Strong communication and creativity
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to attend events, brainstorm new campaigns, or contribute in your own unique way

Location: See our region map. All except the Flex region will have events. You will attend local fundraisers and events near your home. Any statewide activities are home-based.
