Hi, I’m Henry!
I’m a super handsome 1-2 year-old, 70 lb Lab - and you might notice my right paw is not quite right. The vet thinks it was caught in a trap a long time ago and healed wonky because no one helped me back then. The bad news is it can’t be fixed - the good news is it absolutely does not slow me down.

I’m a happy, goofy pup who loves everyone I meet. I’m working hard on my grown-up dog manners, but I still commit my fair share of Puppy Crimes — I’m mouthy and like to grab hands, sleeves, and anything interesting with my mouth when I get excited — so I need a little extra guidance and patience and would do best in a home without kids under 15 until I learn how to play more gently.

I’ll do best with a very active dog sibling or a human who can really keep me busy. My leash manners still need work, so a fenced yard is ideal — it gives me a place to burn off energy without stressing about the world walking by.

So far, I’ve loved every human and dog I’ve met. I sleep in my crate at night, and I do better crated when I’m home alone, since I still like to “inspect” things if left to my own devices
